- Up to $150,000 in building owner incentives.
- 10% bonus incentive opportunitiy, in addition to the building owner incentive.

Commercial; New Construction
Don Wiggins is currently the project manager for SDG&E’s new construction programs. Don had previously worked in various leadership and management capacities in support of business and residential customers on energy issues for the past 25 years. Don also worked as an SDG&E senior account executive supporting major commercial/industrial accounts. He is a business graduate from San Diego State University where he received his undergraduate and Master’s degree in Business Management.
Sr. Account Executive
Peggy Crossman has over 20 years of experience in promoting energy-efficiency and demand side management, with an emphasis on residential and commercial new construction and building code programs. Prior to joining SDG&E's Savings By Design team, she served for 3 years as a Program Policy Advisor for the Savings By Design, Sustainable Communities, California Energy Star New Homes, Emerging Technology, Rebuild a Greener San Diego, and the Codes and Standards programs. Her previous experience includes several years working with State and local governments and large commercial and industrial customers as a utility account executive in the Pacific Northwest, and 15 years at Bonneville Power Administration, where she was responsible for designing and implementing a wide array of residential, commercial and industrial energy-efficiency and DSM programs. Peggy graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1978.
Craig Bullock has been with SDG&E for 32 years. Prior to joining the SBD team he served as a Customer Project Planner where he spent five years in the design, costing, and coordination of residential and commercial distribution projects. From there Craig was promoted to the Major Projects team of the Company where his responsibilities were to work specifically with large developers on the installation of gas and electric distribution systems for new major construction projects in the Eastlake Chula Vista area. Craig brings to SBD a vast knowledge of commercial construction design experience having had the opportunity to work in concert with and oversee the implementation of electric and gas facilities for developers, electricians, engineers, and architects within the SDG&E service territory. Craig's educational background includes attending San Diego City College.
Sr. Account ExecutiveFarrell Cox has been employed by San Diego Gas and Electric for over 35 years. Prior to joining Savings by Design, Farrell was part of the Smart Meter project team and contributed to the business case development, business process designs, deployment planning, and served as the Smart Meter Deployment Manager. His previous management experience included field services, collections, meter reading, and revenue protection. Some of his early roles included power plant maintenance and construction operations which included the installation of gas and electric services. Farrell received SDG&E training for apprentice lineman, electric meter tester, and gas meter testing and attended San Diego Community Colleges and University of Phoenix, Business Administration.
Bob Nacke, P.E.
Since joining SDG&E's Savings By Design team in 1992, Bob has performed energy simulations on hundreds of commercial and residential buildings. His recommendations are based on more than 37 years of experience in the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) profession, including HVAC design and consulting on energy issues. Nacke spent four years as a military design engineer before joining the private sector to perform studies on government facilities. He also spent several years as an in-house engineer at a local computer manufacturing facility. Nacke is a licensed mechanical engineer in the state of California and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
Rod Houdyshel, P.E.
Commercial; HVAC systems
Rod brings over 30 years of experience in commercial HVAC design, energy analysis, and project management to the Savings By Design team. Previously, he was supervising engineer in the consulting profession, designing energy efficient and sustainable HVAC systems in the commercial, industrial, municipal, historical, educational, and healthcare industry segments. He has managed both the construction and retrofit of energy systems, as well as reviewed and approved project incentive applications, for both SBD and EEBI programs. His recommendations are based on his many years of field and site work construction industry, including HVAC design and consulting on energy issues. Rod received his degree in mechanical engineering from San Diego State University, is a licensed mechanical engineer in the state of California, and is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. He was also a past board member of the local San Diego chapter of the USGBC.
Non-Residential Energy Efficiency Programs
After graduating from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in Information and Decision Systems in 2006, Ernie Rincon began his career with the San Diego Gas and Electric Company. He brings to the Company a seven year background in Information Technology industry knowledge and an eleven year history in business management. In his current position Ernie is the Program Advisor managing the Savings By Design program along with three additional third party programs within the SDGE customer programs energy efficiency portfolio.
Non-Residential Energy Efficiency Programs
Yvonne Nauta began her career with the San Diego Gas and Electric Company in 2005. Prior to joining SDGE's Savings By Design team, she worked for five years with the Rebate Processing group, New Solar Homes Partnership Program and the California Advanced Homes Program. In her current position, Yvonne is the Program Specialist who assists in operations of the Savings By Design program along with program assistance for three additional third party programs within the SDGE customer programs energy efficiency portfolio.
